Candle Care
Our candles are all natural, made from 100% Natural Soy Wax, making them eco-friendly and safe for your home and the planet. Our fragrance options contain no carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other chemicals that are potentially hazardous, giving you the confidence you need to light our candles in the realms of your home. Lastly, we use dyes to color our candles, and use no additional additives. For this reason, we recommend keeping your Nascents candles away from direct sunlight to prevent any discoloration.
General Care
- Be sure to trim your wick to 1/4" every time before lighting
- Never burn your candle longer than 3-4 hours at a time
- Never leave your candle lit unattended, nor within reach of children, pets, or drafts
- Place your candle on a heat resistant surface
- In the case that soot forms, extinguish your candle, trim your wick, and relight
- No longer burn your candle once 3/8" of wax is left
- Do not touch or move a lit candle
- Store your candles in a cool and dry place
- To extinguish your candle, simply quickly dip the wick in the wax pool and stand it straight; do not blow out
- Do not light candles in close proximity of each other
Container Care
- Be sure to keep your candle lit until the entire surface of your container candle is melted to prevent tunneling
- Do not touch the container candle when lit, as the glass/tin gets hot fairly quick
- Our container candles can be reused! Once finished and remaining wax is cooled, you can easily clean out the container using the freezer or boiling method and repurpose
Pillar Care
- Always place a candleholder specifically designed for candle usage beneath your Nascents pillar candle
- Take note of the size of your candle when deciding what candleholder to use in order to prevent any spillage
- Allow your finished Nascents pillar candle to cool and harden before cleaning
